 - Can I book a private surf/yoga trip for a group of my friends?

Yes absolutely! We have created many personalized trips for groups of 6 to 12 people and would love to hear your thoughts. Please send us an email and we will get back to you immediately.

- How do I get there?

You can fly into Managua International Airport (MGA). Currently Avianca, American Airlines, United, COPA have the best offers. If you prefer you can also fly into Liberia International Airport (Costa Rica) and we will arrange your pickup from there. This is a great option for those making less expensive connections thru Costa Rica, often a larger hub into Central America.

- What are Nicaragua Visa & Immigration requirements?

The holders of passport of 93 jurisdictions can visit Nicaragua without a visa for up to 90 days (Please check online if your country is visa exempt). Before you travel please check your passport to make sure it is valid for at least 6 months from the time you enter Nicaragua. There is entrance tax of $12 USD paid cash when you enter the Managua International Airport (try to have exact change).

- What is the weather like in Nicaragua?

Nicaragua falls into the tropical climate zone. Here you can expect to enjoy temperatures varying between 72F at night and 86F at daytime (22C-30C). Temperatures can reach 100 F (37.5C) in May, the warmest month of the year. There are only few months that we do not recommend traveling here - September and October, the 2 rainiest months.

- Are there any vaccination requirements for entering Nicaragua?

No.

- What should I pack?

PACK LIGHT! The tropical climate here makes it very comfortable to wear simple, lightweight clothing and footwear. Bring a camera, notebook and maybe a pair of binoculars. Don't forget sunscreen and your favorite mosquito repellent. We offer Essential Oil Natural Repellent made here in Nicaragua for sale.

- In case of emergency

In an event of emergency there is the Roberto Clemente Health Center just 10 minutes away and a full service excellent hospital in Managua, Hospital Vivian Pellas.

- Is there Internet access in your retreats or homes?

Yes. All of Yoga In Nicaragua locations offer the best possible internet service Nicaragua can provide.

- Can I book a single occupancy room?

Of course you can!

- What about food and drinks?

All of our Retreats include well balanced and nutritious meals, healthy power snacks and non alcoholic beverages. We prepare every retreat menu from the freshest and only local ingredients and pride in 5* palate experience. Our local chefs are familiar with many dietary restrictions and always do their best to accommodate every single one of our guest. Alcoholic beverages are always available for purchase from our seasonally crafted cocktail list. We strive in creating different food and drink menus to fit every groups best needs and desires.
